Join us for a free, Parkway CONNECT program geared towards connecting the Greater Sacramento Community with the American River Parkway!

*This is not a volunteer event. To volunteer with ARPF, please visit our volunteer calendar.

This month we will be talking about autumn leaves and why they change color every fall. Join us for a leaf themed craft, an all-ages discussion on the changing colors, and the opportunity to enjoy our Native Plant Garden. This activity will not take the full two hours, but stop by anytime between 10am-12pm to talk to an ARPF staff member and participate in this activity. We also encourage you to spend additional time in the Parkway beyond this activity. Take a stroll in the park before the event, bring a packed lunch and enjoy a picnic after, or bike along the Jediah Smith Bike Trail.
