Thanks to the Confluence Regional Partnership Program, the American River Parkway Foundation is hosting three on-water clean-ups that together will cover the entire Lower American River! Join us for our third one starting at Sunrise and ending at River Bend..

Please arrive by 8:00AM to sign in and receive a safety briefing. We will head out by 8:15AM. Rafters, kayakers, canoers, scuba divers, etc. are invited! Our friends and supporters of the Parkway at American River Raft Rentals are offering free rafts and shuttle services back to Sunrise. By using this registration link you are signing up to borrow a raft.

Volunteers 17 and under must bring a Youth Waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian. Volunteers 15 and under must be accompanied at all times by a parent or legal guardian. Volunteers 18 and over must bring a completed and signed 2023 Waiver. ALL volunteers must sign a waiver.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
ARPF volunteer events are subject to cancellation in the case of weather, flooding, and other natural causes for the safety of our volunteers. Cancellations will be posted on the ARPF calendar at least 24 hours before the event start time, and all registered volunteers will receive an email notification.

All volunteers must sign a waiver upon arrival. Volunteers under age 18 must be signed in by a parent or legal guardian.

ARPF provides trash bags, gloves, free volunteer parking passes, water, and a light snack.

What to wear: PERSONAL FLOTATION DEVICE (we will have extra if you don't bring your own,) clothes appropriate for boating, comfortable shoes/sandals, sunhat, long pants, long-sleeves, gloves, sunscreen, & bug spray.

What to bring: Water! Take breaks & learn the signs of heat exhaustion. Trash pickers if you prefer to use one!

What to leave at home: Anything you wouldn't want to lose in the river.
