Might you have a canoe or kayak and like to participate in the on-river portion this years second biggest clean-up effort? Please join the boating crew to help get the trash that cannot be reached by land on our annual Spring Clean-Up day!

Meet at the Rossmoor Bar Boat Launch in Rancho Cordova Saturday, April 15^th at 8:30am. There will NOT be a collective garbage barge to offload trash so canoes may be best to transport all we gather down to River Bend Park. *Everyone must have their own boat and shuttle prearranged for themselves.*

Bring a lunch and beverages if you'd like to gather and break bread at River Bend when the work is done about 12 noon. Feel free to reach out to Chris Cullen before the day of the event if you have any questions at 916.806.4321 or chris@cullenrealty.com. 

Volunteers 17 and under must bring a Youth Waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian. Volunteers 15 and under must be accompanied at all times by a parent or legal guardian. Volunteers 18 and over must bring a completed and signed 2023 Waiver.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
For the safety of our volunteers, ARPF volunteer events are subject to cancellation in the case of weather, flooding, and other natural causes. On-water events are subject to cancellation if the water conditions are unsafe for any reason. Cancellations will be posted on the ARPF calendar at least 24 hours before the event start time, and all registered volunteers will receive an email notification.

ARPF provides trash bags, gloves, water, and a light snack.

What to wear: sturdy/comfortable closed-toe shoes, hat, long pants, long-sleeves, gloves, sunscreen, & bug spray.

What to bring: Water! Take breaks & learn the signs of heat exhaustion.
